New CTO and Head of Research appointments

Sensinode announces new appointments of top technical leadership. As of May 7th, 2008 Mikko Saarnivala starts as Chief Technical Officer for Sensinode. Former CTO Zach Shelby continues with the company as Head of Research.
Mikko, a founder of Sensinode, has a long history of research and development in the field of embedded IP networks at VTT, the CWC and Sensinode. Mikko will be aggressively pushing the innovative technology applied in Sensinode products.
Zach, a founder of Sensinode, is a legend in the field of IP based sensor networks with history of research leadership at VTT, the CWC and Sensinode. Zach is in charge of research innovations, planning and collaboration for the company.
Sensinode's technical team including Mikko and Zach was the first in the world to develop IP-based wireless sensor networks at the CWC already in 2002 with NanoIP. This innovation later became the basis for Sensinode, and 6lowpan standardization.
