(Oslo, Norway, 2008-04-07) Radiocrafts AS, a leading supplier of wireless RF modules for communication in the license-free frequency bands, and Sensinode Ltd, a market pioneer for 6LoWPAN, will present their new solutions at the Texas Instruments (TI) booth (#1708) at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) in San Jose, California, April 17, 2008.
Radiocrafts offers the market's widest range of compact RF modules with embedded protocol covering all license-free ISM bands including 915 MHz and 2.45. Sensinode is a pioneering supplier of IPv6 over wireless mesh network solutions, and a technology innovation and
licensing company focused on enabling real-time enterprise systems. By combining their technologies they now offer compact hardware and firmware solutions meeting the new
6LoWPAN standard.
Last year Radiocrafts and Sensinode was both selected by Texas Instruments as 3rd-party providers of modules and engineering services for their low-power wireless products. Radiocrafts and Sensinode have been invited to present their 6LoWPAN solutions at the TI booth during the ESC show.
"There is a growing demand for wireless sensor systems, in particular for robust low cost wireless IPv6-networks. Sensinode is very pleased to have the opportunity to present a live demonstration of a 6LoWPAN multi-hop mesh solution together with Radiocrafts at the ESC," said Endale Mitiku, VP Marketing/Sales at Sensinode Ltd. "Our embedded 6LoWPAN modules are already sampling to key customers, and we are ready to take orders", adds Mr. Mitiku.
"Radiocrafts is excited to work with Sensinode, the leading supplier of 6LoWPAN firmware solutions. Their protocol firmware together with our compact module platforms is the perfect combination to bring 6LoWPAN to the market in the shortest possible time", said Peder Martin Evjen, Managing Director at Radiocrafts AS.
